Windsor Park is a south Edmonton cooperative playschool conveniently located a few blocks west of the University of Alberta, with easy access by car, bus or LRT. Our address is 11840 - 87 Ave.

At Windsor Park Preschool, the facilitation and enhancement of your child's growth is achieved in a learning-through-play programme. The school provides a stimulating environment where children can develop physical, social, emotional, intellectual and creative skills in a caring and loving atmosphere.

Fees include field trips (monthly), parties, music instruction and all craft supplies. Also, our four-year-old program is nine hours hours of instruction a week, compared with the more common six or seven hour programs. In addition, no fundraising by parents is required (see fundraising on Parent Info page).

Our teacher is fully certified, with a Bachelor of Education and a specialization in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Allison Neudorf brings to her position years of experience and a genuine love of children. She provides for our students a very important and positive introduction to lifelong learning and social connections.

We are a parent-run cooperative preschool and parents are expected to perform a number of light duties throughout the year. There are duty days, in which parents assist the teacher and students for the morning. These are days that parents got to spend some time watching their child in a classroom environment and participate in their learning. Duty days are scheduled well in advance and occur once every 5 or 6 weeks in the three-year-old program and perhaps every 4 to 5 weeks in the four-year-old program, depending on enrolment. For more information regarding parental responsibilities see the Parent Handbook.
